This software updates Camera Control Pro v 2.0.0 - v 2.7.0 to v 2.7.1. Camera Control Pro v 2.0.0 - v 2.7.0 must be installed before proceeding with this update.

Camera Control Pro 2 allows the user to remotely control a camera from a computer using either a wired connection or a wireless connection if using a Nikon Wireless Transmitter with the camera. A list of cameras and supported functionality is listed below. Most camera settings can be controlled remotely from a computer using this software.

Support for D3 A firmware Ver. 2.02/B firmware Ver. 2.02 has been added. When a D3 with firmware Ver. 2.02 installed is connected, the following settings are modified.

When the ISO Auto box under Sensitivity in the Exposure 2 tab is checked and the Detail… button clicked to specify the maximum sensitivity, the steps available can now be selected from 1/3 step, 1/2 step and 1 step from Custom Setting b1 ISO sensitivity step value. The length of time the camera waits before adjusting focus in response to sudden changes in the distance to the subject can now be selected from 5 (Long), 4, 3 (Normal), 2, and 1 (Short) from Custom Setting a4 Focus tracking with lock-on.

Dynamic AF area can now be specified for FUNC. button + dials with Custom Setting f4 Assign FUNC. button (f5 Assign preview button>Preview + command dials, f6 Assign AE-L/AF-L button>AE-L/AF-L + command dials).

Support for D700 A firmware Ver. 1.02/B firmware Ver. 1.02 has been added. When a D700 with firmware Ver.1.02 installed is connected, the following settings are modified.

Note - To users of the D3S: When the D3S is connected to a computer via Camera Control Pro 2, images previously recorded to a memory card will not be displayed by Windows Explorer, ViewNX or Nikon Transfer until Camera Control Pro 2 has been closed (to display the images on a computer running Windows XP, exit Camera Control Pro 2, and turn the camera off and then on again.) Once Camera Control Pro 2 has closed the images already stored on the memory card will be visible.

D200 support for wired connection (also wired and wireless connection using optional Wireless Transmitter WT-3).

D2Hs, D2X, D2Xs support for wired connection (also wireless connection using optional Wireless Transmitter WT-2).

*D1, *D1H, *D1X, D100, D2H, D40, D40x, D50, D60, D70, D70s, D80, D90 and D5000 support for wired connection only.

*D1 series cameras operate with connection to Intel based Macintosh computers running Mac OS X 10.4.11 - 10.5.4
